NCAAT will be hosting an upcoming Naturalization Workshop in conjunction with NALEO Educational Fund at 9am on Saturday, November 16, 2019 at The Junior League of Raleigh — 711 Hillsborough St, Raleigh, NC 27603.

To be eligible for assistance with the citizenship application at our November 16th workshop you must:

  • Be at least 18 years old
  • Be a lawful permanent resident (green card holder)
  • Have a green card that was issued on or before February 14, 2015 (or if you are married to US citizen, February 14, 2017).

What to bring:

IDENTIFICATION
__ Driver’s license or State issued I.D.
__ Social Security Card.
__ Legal Permanent Residency Card – “Green Card.”

TRIPS OUTSIDE THE U.S. (month/day/year)
__ Dates of all trips, over 24 hours, outside the United States since becoming a legal permanent resident.
__ Dates left for and returned from abroad, reason for leaving, and destination.

RESIDENCE (last 5 years) month & year
__ Complete addresses for the past five years.
__ Dates moved in and moved out of the residence.

EMPLOYMENT (last 5 years) month & year
__ Names, dates, and addresses of all employers for the past five years.
__ Title of position held.

MARRIAGE(S)

Present Spouse:
__ Name.
__ Address.
__ Country of Birth.
__ Date of Birth.
__ Date of marriage by Law.
__ Social Security Number.
__ A # from his/her residency card (if applicable).
__ Date and Place of Naturalization (if applicable).
__ Immigration status.

Former spouse:
__ Name.
__ Date of marriage.
__ Date marriage ended.
__ Divorce/death certificate.
__ Immigration status.
The same information is required if your spouse was previously married.

CHILDREN
__ Names of all children.
__ Date of birth.
__ Country of birth.
__ A #’s of all children.
__ City and state of where they live.

CRIMINAL RECORD
__ Date and location of any arrest.
__ Nature of the offense.
__ Outcome of the case.
__ Police report and court disposition.

SELECTIVE SERVICE
__ Selective Service Number and date registered.

2. If you have not registered and are between the ages of 18 to 26, you should register by calling (847) 688-6888.
3. If you were born after 1960 and you were in the US between the ages of 18 to 26, you must have registered with Selective Service, even if you were undocumented.
