Here at North Carolina Asian Americans Together, we’re establishing an exciting new program for a corps of volunteers to help with our increased efforts into our civic engagement work. Join us for opportunities to grow the voice of Asian Americans in North Carolina and increase our visibility in all areas of life. All skills and ages are welcome. From event planning, data entry, research, advocacy, education, public speaking, canvassing, creative work, mentoring, to career development we would love for your skills to join NCAAT!
How to volunteer with us:
- Complete our volunteer sign up form. Someone will contact you to chat about your interests in volunteering!
- Sign up for a volunteer welcome event! This is required for all new volunteers to learn more about our work, mission, and to meet fellow volunteers!
- Keep an eye out for our newsletter and our opportunity page for the latest updates.
In-Person Outreach
Volunteers support Asian American community members and voters through in-person outreach, voter education, and voter registration at local Asian-owned businesses and community events! Meeting our communities where they are at is one of the best ways to build new connections, especially if you speak another language.
Phonebanking!
Volunteer phonebankers can help make calls to register eligible Asian American voters, educate on local and upcoming elections, and support multilingual and community members with limited English proficiency. This is a great opportunity to bond with fellow volunteers and build new relationships!
